In today's increasingly diverse educational landscape, Defrilex has been assisting educational institutions for nearly a decade in their pursuit to involve students, families, and community members with limited or no English proficiency.
Facilitating significant school interaction with parents, students, and community members
Schools have an obligation to convey information to parents with limited English proficiency in a language they can comprehend, regarding any program, service, or activity. We aid schools in fulfilling this requirement. We routinely collaborate with public, private, magnet, and charter schools on the following types of information:
- School and program registration and enrollment
- Language support programs
- Emergency communications
- Special education and associated services, including IEP meetings
- Parent-teacher conferences
- Parent and student handbooks
- Student policies and procedures
